Chicks and Dudes

I just got yelled at because I haven't updated my blog recently. Who am I too argue. Who am I, but the servant and my god Khorne, the despoiler, my one and only....yikes, gettin' away from myself there. So, I just threw together some pages of drawings from no specific category and posted them up like its my job! Yeah, everyone of these is a digital drawing. Eff. Save one, who can guess?! I still draw with the ol' pap' and penc', but might be to lazy to wait for the scanner to "warm up." Also, me and my compadre and criminal brethren young PMG have some new shite cooking that includes an entire reworking of our comic Labor Days. I'll update more with that as it becomes available. And I'll be starting on more top secret jobs for the government (wetwork stuff, deep ops. you know how it is) so blog-dates will be varied, sporadic but always piping hot. Hmm, s'pose thats it for now.

Hey cadets! With the VB over I've had some more free time to focus on some of my own work as well as getting my head to a more level plane of sanity. The group of normal looking chaps are from my comic Labor Days . This will, i think be used for my new business card. Also, some jedi concept sketches based on a shaggy look i was rocking in the cold months. Obssessing over mignola and paul pope right now. I suppose most people do, but i'm trying to hone a style for some projects coming up. Maybe it doesn't show in the work, i cant tell. But was definitly influenced. Also, a character drawing of a friend of mine who wanted more than anything to be in the Venture Bros. Couldn't find a place, but maybe next season!? I made it for her because she threw me a party. And she certainly is a character.

Venture Bros on DVD!

Season one of the Venture Bros. has just been released on DVD! And we hit number one on amazon's dvd sales list. Don't know where it is now. Its fluctuated a bit, but its definitly doing very good. Also, our tentative date for season 2 is June 24th. Here's a quick color sketch i did during the day.
