A Thousand Years Ago You Would've Slayed Them On Sight

Well a bit ago i re-watched Atlantis the Lost Empire. I still enjoy that movie. But one line in it really stuck with me. The title of this post the King of Atlantis said to Kida upon the arrival of the surface world research team. Now that would've been a cool story. The savage Atlantis. Well i started sketching a younger more vicious Kida and eventually began making this. Which is just pretty much her normal in-movie self, but i had now begun to teach my self how to paint in photoshop. Not one to have the patience for painting, i was enjoying it. Don't honestly know if i'm doing it right, you'll notice prior posts where i was working in one hue, but its fun and something i'm going to continue with...'till the next epsiode.

A few more drawings for a project I'm gearing up for. These aren't final style models. There's gonna be alot more pre production done in the coming months. So far these are to get my head moving in the right direction. Most of the time its off on its own somewhere and I worry sick.

Last Stand on Garqi

New Star Wars Insider today in the mail! Or as I like to call it: the SWI. The cover stated that within its glossy pages was information about Order 66. The doctrine and ingrained order the Republic Clone Troopers followed during the Jedi Purge. I set course (hehe). And low and behold did I not find the live action version of a jedi I designed for a previous Clone Wars Adventure comic! Thats right, mine own jedi design, albeit brief and not so much the focus of the story, has come to life!

Who's the More Foolish?

Dear Internet, I'm back! Not that I went far. I still looked in on you now and again. Well I was neck deep in freelance lately. Still kinda am. But i just finished up another star wars comic for the Clone Wars Adventures comic series. Wont be out though for a short while. I'd assume the end of the summer when all is said and done. But to celebrate here are a few sketches of Jedi. Two of which, Plo Koon and and Kit Fisto are featured in the comic I just completed. And then there's everyone's favorite crazy old wizard, Ben kenobi. If I get an "alls clear" from DH I'll post up some of the pages!
