BATTLE!

A viking character design I'm working on for my Character Design and Concept art class. I'm using vikings this "semester" as our subject matter since the class started on the heels of Dreamwork's How to Train Your Dragon. The character designs for this film (and Kung Fu Panda) were done by Nicolas Marlet, so you may see some of that start to rub off.

I'm trying to stick with basic shapes and blocking to define simplicity in a design.
