Next week on Drawing Lance, the crew gets the low down from a surly looking dwarf at the Wrafton Inn. Below is the concept art for Thair Coalstriker, featured in Dungeons & Dragons module at Winterhaven for 4th edition.
I received some new photoshop brushes, so I put them to use with this drawing and blocked out the colors of Thair through painting. The comic design will land in the Drawing Lance style of ink and color spotting, but this way was great for quickly working out form and palette.
