So I revisited Bozga Bogdaan, the fighter from the Madness at Gardmore Abbey game I'm DMing, with a speed painted version. This was a practice in quickness and self-restraint as I feel I tend to over produce some of my art. It becomes difficult just to say "stop. no. its done. let it be messy. let the viewer fill in the details!"
This was certainly fun and actually quite liberating, so a success on that level. But, oh god, some of it so messy! Right? But, that's a lesson for another day. Controlling form with speed.
Check out the original Bogdaan design!
And if you have any interest in Dungeons & Dragons, my Tumblr is a growing catalogue of rules, modifications and quest lines.
